Have you heard about reverse advent calendars?

7 years ago by Laura

December is just around the corner and you might be getting excited ? about opening the doors of your chocolatey advent calendar ?️ each day but, as it’s Giving Tuesday today ?, we wanted inspire you to create a reverse advent calendar instead ?!

Instead of scoffing ? a bit of chocolate ? every day, a reverse calendar encourages participants to fill an empty cardboard box ? with a different non-perishable product each day which can then be donated to people who need it on Christmas Eve through an official charity ?.

Items can be anything from pasta ? to bubblebath ? through to books ?, games ? and clothes ?.

Charities collecting reverse advent calendars include Foodbank, Raleigh International and Changing Lives.
